When a leased aircraft is re-delivered, the next phase is not always clear. eCube ensures that all your options are kept open, to allow you to make the right decision to maximise value. We manage customs on your behalf, keep the aircraft airworthy in conjunction with our on-site Part 145 partners, and can provide technical representatives with all necessary support.

Plenty of accommodation is available for technical representatives to review records for compliance, and the aircraft is parked on the apron in locations allowing easy access for physical inspections. Aircraft can be kept in a flight ready condition, or inducted into a care and maintenance regime in accordance with AMM chapters 10 and 71 – these programmes are carried out by approved Part 145 maintenance organisations, operating line stations at St. Athan and Castellon.

Upon completion of the re-delivery process, the aircraft may be:

  • re-activated from storage to be returned into service once another lessee
  • prepared for sale to another party
  • transitioned for a part-out project

Storage periods of up to 6 months are not unusual, with the asset value being protected perfectly well by attention to detail in performing the care and maintenance tasks.

Customs services to appropriately import aircraft from outside the EU are frequently provided to lessor customers, particularly in circumstances where the aircraft is subsequently sold.
